Get your pun-making juices flowing. You have through Monday to submit your cleverest, silliest, and best names for Arlington County’s snow plows.
Yes, we’re serious. The county is soliciting names for its snow plows, and you can offer up to five of them.
In a news release, it gave some examples:
- Blizzard of Oz
- Sleetwood Mac
- The Plowminator
- Snowy-Wan Kenobi
- Another One Brines the Dust
- David Plowie
- #FlakeNews
Keep the snow plow names respectful and avoid anything offensive, political, or inappropriate.
The Department of Environmental Services will pick some of your iciest inspirations. The deadline for submission is Monday, October 21.
And, if you can guess when Arlington will get 2 or more inches of snow, you could be one of two people to win a new snow shovel.
