Police arrested two people and issued warrants for a third believed to be responsible for a series of retail thefts totaling nearly $28,000 in Fairfax County.

Fairfax County police linked the out-of-state trio to four larcenies in four months. The first three occurred in Tysons in February, March, and April. The fourth happened at Fair Oaks Mall and in Tysons on Saturday, May 11. Police found stolen merchandise worth $15,290 in their vehicle on Saturday. The other thefts ranged from $2,696 in merchandise to $6,026.

Two suspects whom police say pulled off the retail thefts are being held without bond in the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

Police charged Oscar William Laverde Laverde, 56, of New York, with four counts of grand larceny, four counts of conspiracy to commit larceny, four counts of larceny with intent to sell, and possession of a burglarious tool.

Sindia Noguera, 43, of New Jersey, faces five counts of grand larceny, five counts of conspiracy to commit larceny, five counts of larceny with intent to sell, and possession of a burglarious tool.

Detectives obtained warrants for Claudia Suarez, 45, of New York.

The police ask anyone with information about the theft ring to call the Tysons Urban Team at 703-556-7750.
