It looks like Andy’s Pizza is setting up shop in Ballston at Virginia Square.
The owner of the popular pizza place received a commercial electric permit for 901 N. Pollard St., where Ballston Place Gourmet used to be, ArlNow reports. The permit for “Andys Pizza Pollard St LLC” is consistent with similar filings for other Andy’s Pizza locations, ArlNow reports.
Ballston Place Gourmet was a deli and convenience store that also sold wine. It opened in 2004 but is now vacant.

It has locations in Old Town Alexandria and at Tysons Galleria, as well as in Maryland.
