Test Your Knowledge at These Weekday Trivia Nights

Engage in some friendly competition at these bars and restaurants across NoVA.

By Kylee Toland September 18, 2023 at 8:46 am

Looking for a way to test your knowledge on various topics, while also enjoying the company of others? Luckily, trivia nights are a staple at local eateries and bars across Northern Virginia. Here are some top spots to partake during the week.

Mondays

Mark’s Pub

This beloved Falls Church pub has trivia three nights a week! Grab a seat, a burger, and a brew on Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday at 7 p.m. Consider arriving early for happy hour deals before trivia begins. 2190 Pimmit Dr., Falls Church

Tuesdays

The Board Room

This Clarendon game bar and brewery hosts a weekly Trivia Tuesday, which offers rotating themes, prizes for the top three finishers, and bonus questions in its Instagram feed. 925 N. Garfield St., Arlington

Wednesdays

Settle Down Easy Brewing

This craft brewery, with more than a dozen beers to enjoy, encourages participants to band together or play alone for its Wednesday trivia nights. 2822 Fallfax Dr., Falls Church

Shipgarten

Bring your pup! Located near Tysons, this “biergarten experience” features a fenced-in dog area for four-legged friends, as well as four on-site food and drink spots such as Waffles and Tacos and Salamite Grill. 7581 Colshire Dr., McLean

Black Hoof Brewing Company

At this family-owned microbrewery, weekly Wednesday trivia nights offer a close-knit experience: The bar’s no-stools policy encourages a friendly atmosphere between players and possible future teammates. 11 S. King St., Leesburg

O’Brien’s Irish Pub

Looking for a trivia night with an international flair? This Warrenton pub’s trivia nights throw in Ireland-themed questions, as well as a picture and music round where people use sight and sound to answer topics. 380 Broadview Ave., Warrenton

Thursdays

Blue Iguana

Every Thursday night, Fair Lakes Shopping Center’s Blue Iguana hosts trivia with a DJ and generous prizes: flat screens, GoPros, and more. 12727 Shoppes Ln., Fairfax

Caboose Commons

This warehouse-like brewery has partnered up with the Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce to bring trivia nights every third Thursday of month. Every month has a different theme, such as music, cultural holiday traditions, and more. 2918 Eskridge Rd., Fairfax
