Candytopia Brings Interactive Candy Exhibit to Tysons

Here’s what to expect: Confetti-farting pigs; a huge marshmallow pit; and lots of treats.

By Molly Williams March 16, 2023 at 10:21 am

Sweet-toothed Virginians, your moment has finally come. Starting Friday, Candytopia officially opens at Tysons Corner Center.

The candy-themed interactive experience, which has toured in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami, settles in Northern Virginia until the end of May.

At over 16,000 square feet, Candytopia features 14 different interactive environments for guests to experience. Candy lovers can take a look at the candy art gallery, which displays famous and familiar faces, or celebrate your visit in the state-of-the-art confetti room with the confetti-farting pigs.

There’s even a marshmallow pit filled to the brim with a quarter of a million marshmallows, as well as DMV-themed components throughout the experience.

Arguably the most exciting part is the abundance of candy samples available throughout your visit.

The sprawling candy wonderland offers roughly an hour of activity, with a whimsical gift shop and candy lounge available for guests who wish to relax and hang out once their experience ends.

Candytopia is located on the lower level of Tysons Corner Center, across from the H&M store.

The candy exhibit is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from March 17 to May 31. Tickets for Candytopia are now available, with admission for children ages 4 to 12 set at $23 and $30 for adults. Children ages three and under enter for free.

Grab your friends, get your tickets, and maybe pack a toothbrush, just in case. This sweet new spot is sure to take your sugar rush to a whole new level.
