Tradition!
I’m a Jew with roots in the former Soviet Union. My other half is from Salt Lake City. We already saw The Book of Mormon for him; now it’s time to educate him about my people and the pogroms that brought them to the U.S. with a performance of Fiddler on the Roof at Capital One Hall. I’m almost as excited to see the new venue as I am for Tevye’s act-two “Tradition” freak-out. –Alice Levitt, food editor/critic
Saturday at the Smithsonian
It has been years since I’ve been to a museum in DC, which is a travesty since I live so close to the District. To end that streak, I’m planning a trip to the National Air and Space Museum, which is opening its doors to guests once again starting this Friday. The last time I stepped foot in this building, I was on my eighth-grade field trip to DC, so I’m sure to learn something new. –Michele Kettner, associate digital & research editor

Eating for a Cause
Joining several DC organizations helping Ukraine, the World Central Kitchen is partnering with DC’s top chefs to host a two-day pop up pizza party, with all proceeds going to feed Ukrainian refugees, this weekend on March 12 and 13.
