Police have given an official “all clear,” of the Gannett Building in McLean, home to USA Today, after the building was evacuated on Wednesday, Aug. 7. The evacuation was prompted by reports of an armed ex-employee inside, but the Fairfax County police determined there was no imminent threat or crime committed. (WUSA9)
Nestle USA Inc. is expanding its footprint in Rosslyn at 1812 North Moore Street. The company agreed to lease an additional 50,000 square feet in the 35-story, 537,000-square-foot building. The company will now inhabit 18 floors and plans to use the additional space for conference facilities. (WTOP)
Loudoun South is the first little league team from Virginia to qualify for the Little League World Series since 1994.
