Ninety acres in McLean turn into a summer escape for children across the entire Metro-D.C. area as the private Potomac School turns into a camp filled with options such as sports, academics, theater, technology and more. There are dozens of activities to choose from, and campers can also take advantage of the camp’s forest-like setting with woods, streams, ponds and nature trails, along with swimming pools, playgrounds and sports fields. Those who live outside the McLean area can take advantage of the camp’s free bus and shuttle services that extend into Fairfax County, D.C. and Maryland.

Age Range: 4-15 years old
Camp Dates: June 18-Aug. 3
Sessions: Half day and full day, weekly and full summer session, day camp
Registration: $395-$1,495; potomacschool.org/summer
