Reston’s Parabon Nanolabs is working with law enforcement to create digital sketches of a suspect’s appearance using DNA. While DNA is already being used to match samples either from a database or an already identified suspect, this technology takes things one step further by using DNA and ancestry predictions to determine a person’s physical appearance.

On Wednesday, it was announced that John B. Murphy would not be serving as Alexandria’s West End Elementary School (1701 N. Beauregard Street) principal.
