Congress passes Obamacare replacement; thunderstorms in the region expected to slow by this afternoon

House Republicans passed the Affordable Care Act replacement without it yet receiving an assessment by the Congressional Budget Office. The bill is expected to undergo CBO analysis and significant changes before the Senate votes on it.

Severe thunderstorm and flood warnings were issued in Stafford, Fairfax, Prince William and Arlington counties and Alexandria Friday morning. Storms are expected to slow by early afternoon.
