Fairfax
Name of project: The Commons of McLean
Location of project: Tysons Corner near the McLean Metro Station
Basic stats: Largest residential development in Tysons with up to 2,571 apartments in four residential units. 2.62 million square feet.
When construction starts/finishes: March 2015/2017
Projected opening date: 2018

Arlington
Name of project: Central Place
Location of project: Downtown Rosslyn, near and including the Rosslyn Metro
Basic stats: $146 million, 31 stories, 377 residential units and 30,000 square feet of ground level retail plus a 17,000-square-foot public plaza. It will be the tallest building in Rosslyn.
When construction starts/finishes: April 2014/January 2017
Projected opening date: Spring or summer 2017

Loudoun
Name of project: Northwoods Business Park
Location of project: Sterling near Dulles International Airport
Basic stats: 2.1 million-square-foot master-planned business park. The first phase of the project consists of six industrial and flex buildings totaling 365,000 square feet. The second phase of the project will consist of four industrial buildings totaling over 410,000 square feet. Building sizes range from 76,800 to 156,400 square feet. Northwoods offers build-to-suit capabilities, outside storage, ample parking, multiple docks and drive-ins and more, all on a 340-acre site.
When construction starts/finishes: Phase One complete. Phase Two underway
Projected opening date: 2016

Loudoun
Name of project: Dulles World Center
Location of project: Herndon, less than 3 miles from Dulles International Airport
Basic stats: New mixed-use community featuring 4.1 million square feet of office, commercial, retail, hotel and civic-use space and 1,265 multifamily apartments in a series of vertically integrated buildings. Infrastructure work is underway.
When construction start/finishes: July 2011/NA
Project opening date: TBD

Alexandria
Name of project: Notch 8
Location of project: Potomac Yard above the new 60,000-square-foot Giant
Basic stats: 253 apartments and amenities, part of the mixed-use development The Exchange at Potomac Yard.
Construction start/finish: October 2013/Summer 2015
Opened date: Oct. 7, 2015
