Every town, city and neighborhood celebrates itself in some form. Fairfax, however, takes an entire weekend filled with carnival rides, games and concerts (past performers include 3 Doors Down, Sugar Ray, Pat Benatar and The Bangles) all topped off with fireworks each night. The largest community event in the area, though, doesn’t just stick with the tried-and-true activities. This year brought with it dueling DJs, silent disco, comedic hypnotist and karaoke championships. –LN / celebratefairfax.com
