Looking to break out of a workout slump? Then it’s time to try something new. Skip your usual schedule of weightlifting and treadmill intervals and get out of the house to break a sweat. Here are six new workouts to try this weekend.

Twilight Paddling Adventures

Friday, 7:30-10 p.m.

Friday nights are meant to be spent on the water. Grab your kayak buddy after work and make your way to Belmont Bay. As you paddle out, take in your surroundings as the waterfowl retreat and the nocturnal creatures make their way out. Mason Neck State Park: 7301 High Point Rd., Lorton; $20

Petals and Poses at 50 West Winery

Saturday, 9 a.m.-noon

Reset your body and mind with this combo event. Kick off your Saturday morning with a tension and stress reducing outdoor yoga class. After you reset your mind, continue the good vibes with a floral arranging class and a glass of wine. 50 West Winery: 39060 John Mosby Hwy., Middleburg; $55

Public Skating

Saturday, 10:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m., 2-3:45 p.m., and 7:45-9:30 p.m.

Take a break from the summer heat and enter the tundra. Shake off the rust and enjoy a fun summertime skate for your weekend workout. Loudoun Ice Centre: 22149 Davis Dr., Ste. 155, Sterling; $8-$9

Birthday Bash 5K and 1K

Sunday, 8 a.m.

Celebrate the 18th birthday of Potomac River Running Store with an early morning run. Break out your running shoes for a 5K with fun giveaways that include, medals, photos, and cupcakes. Plus, bring along your kiddos for a fun tot trot to kick off the event. Potomac River Running Store: 11895 Grand Commons Ave., Fairfax; $30-$45

Deep End Fitness Workout

Sunday 9-11 a.m.

You may be in the pool, but this water workout will make your heat up. Created by Marines, Deep End Fitness uses water for a challenging cardio workout. During the two-hour stint, you’ll work on your mental focus, stress management, water confidence, and breathing techniques. Truro Pool: 4146 Elizabeth Ln., Annandale; $20

Yoga in the Vines

Sunday 11 a.m.

Before you go back to work, enjoy an afternoon of yoga, meditation, and wine. Join yoga instructor Shelby Hoefling for a unique class of power and restorative yoga to get your body moving. Once yoga wraps up, head to the vineyard for a much needed wine tasting. Three Fox Vineyards: 10100 Three Fox Ln., Delaplane; $30
