5 fitness classes to attend this weekend

Start off your month on a fitness kick with yoga, boot camp and CrossFit sessions.

With March in full swing, it is the perfect time to pick your workout routine back up. Whether you want to take on the elements with an outdoor boot camp class or relax at home with a yoga session, these fitness classes will get your blood pumping this weekend.

Flow & Restore | virtualLIVE studio

Friday, 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Start your weekend off with a much needed relaxing yoga session. The virtual class will teach students different breathing techniques, fundamental yoga poses and other methods for relaxation. // $16

All Levels Outdoor Yoga @ Lost Barrel Brewing

Saturday, 10-11 a.m.
Connect with the environment with an outdoor, all levels yoga class. After class, continue your day at the brewery with food, drinks and fun. Masks will need to be worn when social distancing cannot be maintained. // Lost Barrel Brewing: 36138 John Mosby Highway, Middleburg; $16

Boot Camp

Saturday, 10:15 a.m.
With the snow gone, take your workout back outside. This outdoor boot camp is perfect for participants of all ages and fitness levels. // 1920 N. Highland St., Arlington; $12

Yoga for Anxiety and Depression

Sunday, 1-3:30 p.m.
Have a self care day this Sunday by focusing on your mental health. This class will focus on depression. Participants will face the stigma head on and use meditation, breath work and poses to help manage your depression. A virtual class is also available. // West Trail Wellness and Massage: 190 N. 21st St., Purcellville; $30

Competitors Class

Sunday, 2 p.m.
Head over to CrossFit Warrenton for a true full body workout. The competitors class will feature at least five movements, including one strength component and at least two metcons. Participants must be able to perform all of the movements in one of the three levels in order to compete. // CrossFit Warrenton: 32 S. 2nd St., Warrenton; $40-$70
