7 in-person yoga classes to sign up for this weekend

Destress and enjoy the beautiful fall scenery this weekend at one of these relaxing yoga sessions.

With the start of the holiday season just a few weeks away, it is the perfect time to get a head start on your meditation. Whether you are looking to start practicing yoga or take it back up, there are plenty of classes to fill your needs. Here are seven in-person yoga classes being held this weekend to help you release your stress before the holiday season.

Free Outdoor (Rooftop) Yoga Session!

Friday, 4-5 p.m.
Clock out of work early for a relaxing start to your weekend. Join the doctors of Mosaic Theory MD and Prana health for an evening of movement and exercise. Participants are asked to bring their own mat and face mask. // Mosaic Theory MD: 22365 Broderick Drive, Suite 330, Sterling; free

Goat Yoga Halloween Costume Party

Saturday & Sunday, 9-10 a.m.
Get in the Halloween spirit with some festive goat yoga. This class will include mostly seated yoga poses, guided meditation and snuggles with some costumed goats. Participants are also welcome to dress in their Halloween costume. // Bear Chase Brewing Company: 33665 Bear Chase Lane, Bluemont; $40

Outdoor Yoga at Wollam Gardens

Saturday, 10-11 a.m.
Take your yoga class outdoors and enjoy the beauty of Wollam Gardens in the fall. This all-levels flow class will be limited to 11 students to ensure social distancing. Registration is required. // Wollam Gardens: 5167 Jeffersonton Road, Jeffersonton; $15

Autumn Flow Yoga

Saturday, 10-11:30 a.m.
Stop by Salamander Resort for a fall-themed hatha yoga class. Participants will practice mindful breathing techniques through their poses in order to help you connect with your body. Ales and Asana – Yoga @ Harpers Ferry Brewing

Sunday, 10-11 a.m.
Enjoy the beauty of the Potomac at the weekly yoga session at Harpers Ferry Brewing. After the hour-long all levels flow yoga class, participants can make their way to the taproom for a pint of their favorite brew. // Harpers Ferry Brewing: 37412 Adventure Center Lane, Purcellville; $12

National Arboretum Outdoor Yoga with Hikyoga® DC

Sunday, 10-11 a.m.
Take a short trip to the Nation’s capital for some fresh air yoga. This hour-long class welcomes yogis of all levels for a relaxing and unique series under the sun. Lavender Fields Yoga with an Autumn making wreath kit

Sunday, 2-3:15 p.m.
Take to the lavender fields for a calming Sunday afternoon. Enjoy the view and the benefits of lavender as you work off your stress. After the class, participants can cool off or warm up with a refreshing lavender lemonade or lavender hot tea and work and pick up the autumn wreath kit. // Seven Oaks Lavender Farm: 8769 Old Dumfries Road, Catlett; $50
