One-Of-A-Kind Ice Sculptures Return to Village at Leesburg This Weekend

Ice Fest 2024 is set to feature a live ice carving competition, kid-friendly activities, and more.

By Michele Kettner January 22, 2024 at 12:10 pm

Things are getting icy in Leesburg. The annual Ice Fest is making its return to the Village at Leesburg this Saturday.

The free festival kicks off at noon with the live ice carving competition. The award-winning carvers start working on their sculptures in the morning. Throughout the day, the public can watch the creations come to life and vote for their favorites.

New this year is the ice curling activity at ION International Training Center. Not only will visitors get to try out one of the most popular Winter Olympic events free of charge, but they can also enjoy ice skating and make memories with the can’t-miss photo opportunities around the rink.

Other activities found throughout Village at Leesburg include a s’mores station, balloon artist, caricaturist, face painting, and more. Guests will most likely bump into various performers as they explore the plaza.

Those strolling Village of Leesburg can take part in the shopping center’s Drink in the Good Life Program, the facility’s sip and shop promotion, and browse exclusive deals and promos available at various storefronts. 1602 Village Market Blvd., Leesburg
