A fun night out doesn’t have to be limited to the weekend. Many bars and breweries in Northern Virginia host weeknight entertainment specials that keep things fun. So grab a group of friends and give one (or more!) of these events a try. We’ve rounded up one for every night of the week.
Monday
Line Dancing at Rai’s Rendezvous Kitchen + Bar
It’s time to kick up your heels. Rai’s hosts a weekly line dancing session every Monday night. It’s hosted by W.I.L.D., and dancers of any skill level are welcome to join for a high-energy night of country tunes. 44042 Pipleline Plz., Ashburn
Tuesday
Bring Your Own Vinyl Night at Lost Rhino Brewing
Dust off your favorite vinyl records and bring them to this Ashburn brewery. Some weeks have themes, like the CBGB’s/punk/new wave night on February 25, while others are “wild cards” where anything is welcome. And no DJ skills are required — just share an album you love. 21730 Red Rum Dr., Ste. 142, Ashburn
Wednesday
Music Bingo at Audacious Aleworks
In this version of bingo, the caller plays clips of songs instead of calling numbers. Winners will take home fun prizes. The game is held every Wednesday at Audacious Aleworks’s Falls Church location. 110 E. Fairfax St., Falls Church
Thursday
Trivia at Clare & Don’s Beach Shack
This weekly event is organized by District Trivia, the company behind trivia nights at Red Bear Brewing, Boardwalk at The Wharf, Bryant Street Market, and more. Head out on Thursday nights to challenge yourself to a game of knowledge at staple neighborhood bar Clare & Don’s. 130 N. Washington St., Falls Church
Friday
Karaoke at Freddie’s Beach Bar
Celebrate the beginning of the weekend by singing your heart out on Freddie’s stage. Technically, every night is karaoke night at this “LGBTQ+, straight-friendly” bar. The fun begins around 8 p.m. unless there’s something else on the schedule. In that case, karaoke kicks off when the previous event ends. 555 23rd St. S., Arlington
