Boardroom Salon for Men, the Texas-based men’s grooming brand, is opening its 42nd salon on Saturday, Jan. 30 in Fairfax’s Mosaic District. Described as the “ultimate relaxed grooming experience for men,” the concept provides haircuts, shaves and spa services in an elegant environment.
“Boardroom Salon is thrilled to bring the ultimate grooming experience to Fairfax, our first Washington, DC area salon,” said Nicole Morales, Salon Manager at Boardroom Salon for Men Fairfax, in a statement. “We look forward to introducing Boardroom with our professional talented stylists and barbers to clients who want an elevated … experience in a sophisticated yet still approachable way.”
The salon’s signature haircut service is dubbed The Benchmark® ($70) and includes a personal consultation, tailored haircut with precision neck shave, personalized shampoo and conditioning, scalp massage, pressure-point facial massage, steamed towel, paraffin hand dip, stress-relieving hand massage and styling tips. Other available services include a traditional hot lather shave ($70) with a skin consultation, pre-shave oil, steamed towels, light facial massage, after-shave balm and a cold towel to finish, waxing ($20 and up) and a paraffin dip nail service ($10).
Services are provided in the sleek and sophisticated salon adorned with dark wood paneling, and before or afterwards clients can relax in oversized leather chairs in the lounge, play pool and enjoy complimentary beverages. Optional memberships are available which include unlimited haircut services, 10% off all products and services and complimentary referral Benchmark® haircuts to give away. Prior to the salon’s opening, a three-month express haircut membership is offered at a discounted rate of $125, while a three-month executive haircut membership is $150. While supplies last, Founding Members will also receive a branded silver beverage tumbler.
Covid protocols including masks, gloves and temperature checks are in place at The Boardroom.
