Holiday travel is stressful enough without the worry of spilled liquids and cranky TSA agents. Enter WanderBar. The Springfield-based beauty startup recently launched a line of travel- and eco-friendly shampoo, conditioner and lotion aimed at making your
luggage spill-free. Co-founders—and husband and wife—Aaron St. Pierre and Angel Vosburgh St. Pierre got the idea for the unisex line, which offers hygiene
products in bar form, when they were working overseas in different countries and globetrotting together on the weekends. “I was always trying to commandeer his
Ziploc,” recalls Vosburgh St. Pierre. When they were in Thailand and both opened their carry-on bags to find leaking bottles, a lightbulb switched on and a company
was born. WanderBar sources all natural products, including some from right here in the DMV (they get their goat’s milk ingredients, for example, from a farm
in Maryland) and aims to make them work for all hair and skin types. They went through many formulations and “ended up with products that we can stand by and
say they’re made for all,” says St. Pierre. The duo has plans to build out the brand to offer additional beauty products in bar form, but this holiday season the trio
