Two teenagers have been arrested for stealing from a gun store in Springfield early this morning, DC News Now reported.
Fairfax County Police responded to the Dominion Defense gun store in Springfield around 1:30 a.m. on Monday. They discovered that multiple people had broken into the store and taken several guns before fleeing the scene in a vehicle. Dominion Defense is located at 7200 Fullerton Road in Springfield.
The glass front door of the shop appeared to have been smashed during the robbery. During the investigation, it was blocked off with police caution tape.
A vehicle that was allegedly involved in the gun store incident was later stopped in Montgomery County, Maryland. Two people were arrested, and several guns were recovered from the vehicle.
Investigators are still searching for a third person in connection with the burglary.
This is the third time Dominion Defense has been broken into since September 2024, the Fairfax County Police Department told DC News Now.
