Historic Manassas has received its outdoor drinking permit, which now allows residents to enjoy alcohol outdoors from local restaurants as long as it is sold in plastic cups and it is kept within the designated downtown area. Public school students in the District, Alexandria City, Arlington and Montgomery County now have the option to mark their gender as ‘X’ on all paperwork, meaning non-binary or unspecified gender. AHC Inc.’s collect-and-career-readiness program had a 100% success rate this year. The program saw every participating high school senior, 24 in total, graduate after being partnered with mentors and receiving academic and career support.
