A Mega Millions ticket worth $2 million from Tuesday night’s drawing was found to be purchased at Saigon Bakery & Deli at 6773 Wilson Boulevard in Falls Church, according to Virginia’s lottery officials. Fairfax County could become the home of one of the world’s largest indoor ski resorts, thanks to a new bid from SnowWorld International B.V. The Netherlands-based company proposed a roughly 500,000-square-foot facility that would include a 1,500-foot ski slope, sky bar, event facility, a hotel and multiple dining and drinking establishments. Loudoun County is now responsible for treating and distributing its own tap water after the opening of its new state-of-the-art water treatment plant. After years of purchasing water from Fairfax Water and supplementing it with water from Goose Creek, the plant pumps water from the Potomac River with a guide to preservation and protection of the surrounding environment.
