As rain continues, flash flood watch is in effect until 6 p.m.; Portion of eastbound Dulles Access Highway to close this weekend

More rain from Hurricane Florence is expected today, and as such a flash flood watch has been issued until 6 p.m. for the City of Alexandria, Falls Church City and Arlington, Fairfax, Prince Wililam, Loudoun and Fauquier counties.

From 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23, the eastbound portion of the Dulles Access Highway from mile marker 1.7 to mile marker 2.7 will be closed while crews work on an overhead pedestrian bridge.
