More Than Hops

When sommeliers describe wine, they often use berries and other foods to help guests understand what the drink will taste like. But those ingredients are not used in the actual making of wine. That’s different in the beer world. If there’s a pumpkin beer, brewers often add winter squash to the mix of malts and hops.
