Get in your pre-Thanksgiving run by signing up for Fort Belvoir MWR’s virtual Turkey Trot. Choose your own 5k or 10k route and continue the fall tradition at a distance. The first 650 registrants will receive an event shirt. // $15
BallstonGives Virtual 5K

Show your giving side as we inch closer to the holidays with the virtual Ballston Gives 5K. Take in the scenery of your local neighborhoods and trails as you go for a walk or jog. Proceeds from the event will go toward a variety of nonprofits around Arlington. // $25
Spend Yourself Virtual 5K Run/3K Walk

The ninth annual Spend Yourself run is going virtual for the first time. Get outdoors this weekend and enjoy the natural surroundings on a run or walk around the neighborhood. This fundraiser will benefit Columbia Baptist Church’s Spend Yourself World Hunger ministries in Falls Church and Haiti. // $40
Fall Backyard Burn 5m/10m Trail Running Series
Sunday, 9 a.m.-noon
Head over to Fountainhead Regional Park for the second race of the Fall Backyard Burn series. Get out on the hiking trails for a morning of running along the streams and the fall foliage. 2020 Run for the Wounded 5k, 10k & Half Race
Sunday, 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Enjoy the crisp morning air at Run for the Wounded race at Prince William Forest Park. Take in the scenic views as you race through the forest and try to top your best time. Tysons Rotary Turkey Trot Virtual 5K Race

Lace up your running shoes for the second annual Tysons Rotary Turkey Trot. Help support local charities and residents with a pre-holiday workout. The proceeds from the event will support local charities in the Tysons area. // $35
