What is a sweat crawl, you ask?
You might be envisioning a bar crawl on a particularly hot day in the DMV, but it’s actually just the opposite. No stopping by local watering holes for the night. Instead, participants go to several locations for a variety of fitness classes, which range in genre and athleticism.
If you’re interested in getting up and moving, swap your pint glass for a bottle of water and check out these two sweat crawls coming to Arlington.
Sweat Crawl for a Cause
Saturday, Aug. 10, 1-4 p.m.
Three local fitness studios in Arlington are ready to sweat. Participants will begin with a class at Next Phase, completing a strength training routine, followed by a class at LavaBarre and finishing with a cycling class at Good Sweat Studio. Bonus: ticket proceeds are donated to Operation Paws for Homes, and if you make it through this summer sweat crawl, you get to pet (or fall in love with) some of the organization’s adoptable dogs. // Next Phase Arlington: 2009 14th St., Arlington; $30
