Dogfish Head Alehouse Is Opening in Reston Town Center

This is the latest in a slew of new and upcoming restaurants located in the Reston Town Center.

Reston Town Center is continuing to grow its repertoire of dining establishments. BXP, the developer that owns RTC, announced today that Dogfish Head Alehouse has leased a new space within the development.

Dogfish Head currently has a restaurant in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The brand previously operated restaurants in Falls Church and Fairfax, which closed in 2022 and 2023, respectively. It specializes in craft beers, as well as burgers, pizzas, and salads.

The brand’s new space in Reston Town Center is expected to open in summer 2026. It will be run as a franchise by Viswa Vasireddy, owner of Clarity in Vienna. Clarity, one of Northern Virginia Magazine’s 50 Best Restaurants of 2024, is also expected to open a new location in Reston Town Center in the spring of 2026. Dogfish will be located at 11995 Inspiration St., Reston, home of the AC Hotel and Residence Inn.

This is the latest in a series of announcements of new restaurants coming to Reston Town Center. In the past year, RTC has opened Corsica Wine Bar, Shake Shack, Kusshi Suchi, and Haus of Urbi. It has also announced plans for even more upcoming eateries, including Clarity, Grazie Nonna, Yunnan by Potomac Noodle House, Toastique, and MidnighTreats.

“Reston Town Center offers exactly what we were looking for in a new location – a dynamic, walkable community with a mix of residential, office, and retail that will support the growth of our business,” said Vasireddy in a news release. “We are excited to bring our distinctive craft beers and signature menu to Reston and are grateful to BXP for their partnership.”
