July 11 is notoriously known to be Slurpee Day after the convenience store 7-Eleven, but did you know that it’s also National French Fry Day? And Big Buns is taking the chance to celebrate the iconic food with free giveaways.
National French Fry Day falls every year on the second Friday of July. This is the result of a 2022 petition from fast-food chains Checkers and Rally’s.
Big Buns is celebrating by giving out a pile of free regular or Cajun fries with the purchase of any burger, bowl, or sandwich.
The local chain — one of our 20 Best Burgers in Northern Virginia — is known for its tasty and inventive burgers, as well as its casual fun atmosphere. Big Buns specializes in a variety of burgers including beef (Angus or Wagyu), bison, chicken, turkey, veggie, and Ahi tuna. The menu also offers milkshakes, craft beers, and cocktails.
