I scream, you scream, we all scream for (free) ice cream. Local brand Nicecream is launching 3-2-1 Day on March 21, offering free, unlimited ice cream scoops to customers all day.
The ice cream shop has locations in Clarendon, Old Town Alexandria, Adams Morgan and Shaw, and all four locations will be celebrating 3-2-1 Day.
“We use liquid nitrogen to freeze our ice cream,” explained Gil Welsford in a press release. “Liquid nitrogen is -321 degrees F. To honor our signature freezing agent, we decided to launch 3-2-1 Day.”
Nicecream uses local ingredients for its products, including grass-fed milk, and freezes ice cream on the spot. On March 21, all locations will be open from noon to 10:30 p.m. // Nicecream: 726 King St., Alexandria and 2831 Clarendon Blvd., Arlington
