Chris Savage loved the convenience of K-Cups, but he didn’t love the flavor. He started tinkering with his own blends (read the full story in the October issue of Northern Virginia Magazine, on sale Sept. 21) and created True Honey Teas via Kickstarter in 2013.
He’s back on the crowdfunding site for a new line of tea, this time adding granulated honey with loose-leaf tea in a traditional tea bag. The Woodbridge-based company is only a few hundred dollars away from its $5,000 goal.
