Mamta Kafle Bhatt, a mother and nurse who works at UVA Health Prince William Medical Center, was last seen July 31.

A Manassas Park mother of a young child has been missing for two weeks, and friends are concerned. They plan to search for her on Thursday afternoon, according to a Facebook page dedicated to finding Mamta Kafle Bhatt.

Bhatt, 28, has an 11-month-old daughter and is a nurse at UVA Health Prince William Medical Center. She was last seen on July 31. Her husband reported her missing on August 5.

Manassas Park Police released a missing persons flyer about her on August 8.

The flyer describes Bhatt, who emigrated from Nepal, as 5 feet tall, 132 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

The police said she is “missing on involuntary circumstances.”

On Facebook, the police department wrote, “This case is active and ongoing. What we can share at this time is the following: the investigators have conducted several follow-ups with neighbors, friends, co-workers and the husband. The investigators are also utilizing several investigative tools to help in an attempt to locate Mamta Kafle.”

The police do not have any information on what Bhatt was wearing when she disappeared.

Friends and people who have worked with her gathered Tuesday outside of the police station to put pressure on the police to find Bhatt.

Anyone with information about Bhatt should call Manassas Park police at 703-361-1136 or Manassas/Manassas Park Crime Solvers at 703-330-0330.

A GoFundMe campaign for the search efforts has been established.
