About
Joshua Erlich is a litigator focused on civil rights and employment issues. He passionately advocates on behalf of his clients and their rights — their rights to be paid for their labor, their rights to be free of invasive and unconstitutional police action, and their rights to be free from discrimination and harassment.
Josh is the founder of the Erlich Law Office, a civil rights and employment
firm in Northern Virginia. Josh graduated from the Louisiana State University and received both
a JD and an LLM from the Georgetown University Law Center.
Josh serves on the boards of the Virginia Employment Lawyers Association, the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association, as well as the permanent supportive housing non-profit Open Arms Housing and a workers’ rights organization, The First Shift Justice Project.
Josh has been recognized as a top lawyer by various organizations and publications, including Washingtonian Magazine, Northern Virginia Magazine, and Super Lawyers. He also serves on the faculty of the Virginia Bar’s Harry L. Carrico Mandatory Professionalism Course.
