About
Eli was born and raised in a small town in rural Mississippi, the son of a civil rights attorney. From an early age, he witnessed the profound impact that dedicated legal advocacy can have on individuals and communities seeking to exercise and defend their rights. Those experiences shaped his commitment to a life of service and his belief that effective representation requires both legal skill and the strength to stand beside clients when their rights and interests are at stake.
Eli has represented hundreds of clients throughout Northern Virginia across multiple practice areas, with a particular focus on the administration and litigation of trusts and estates. His commitment to this field began before entering private practice, when he served as a law clerk to the Commissioner of Accounts for the Fairfax County Circuit Court. In that role, he gained firsthand experience overseeing and scrutinizing the administration of trusts and estates, as well as the conduct of executors, guardians, and conservators.
For Eli, probate, trust, and estate matters are about far more than the disposition of assets. They are about honoring a person’s intentions, protecting the interests of loved ones, and giving effect to the care and foresight embodied in an estate plan. An inheritance can fundamentally expand the opportunities available to a family, while a trust or estate can represent a final expression of generosity and responsibility.
As a Senior Attorney and the Estate Administration Department Lead at PJI Law, Eli considers it both a privilege and a responsibility to help ensure those intentions are honored and that clients have the advocacy necessary to protect what matters most
