As a Retirement Specialist, Kelly has taught hundreds of seminars, classes, and workshops on retirement planning, estate planning, investment management, income and tax planning. He has taught thousands of baby boomers how to enjoy retirement. He is an energetic and knowledgeable speaker who teaches in a light-hearted fun way utilizing stories and anecdotes to help his students learn.
Over the last twenty years, Kelly has appeared on or been quoted in many financial publications, networks and programs including: Fox Business, TheStreet.com, Fox 5 Local News, CNBC, The Washington Post, Kiplinger’s Magazine, and The Smarter Investor on U.S. News & World Report.
While Kelly has always said, “A successful retirement comes from proper planning,” this is pursued through his trademarked program, Right on Retirement™ (ROR.) ROR is Kelly’s five-step process that he and his team take all of their clients through to work towards their long-term success in retirement.
Kelly graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in finance. A continuous student, he has achieved the designations of: Certified Financial Planner™, Chartered Financial Consultant™, Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor™, and Accredited Investment Fiduciary™.
When he is not helping his clients, Kelly focuses on his passions of boating, water and snow skiing, restoring vintage cars, horseback riding as well as spending time with his wife, Kim and three kids.
