Brian Wendroff

About

Brian Wendroff, CPA/PFS, is the founder and Managing Partner of Wendroff & Associates, an Arlington-based firm serving the DC region and beyond.

Since founding the firm in 2006, Brian has become known as the “Entrepreneur’s CPA,” advising business owners, government contractors, nonprofit leaders, and high-net-worth individuals. He helps clients strengthen accounting systems, plan ahead for taxes, understand financial performance, and make better business decisions. His philosophy is that “A CPA firm needs to think of its clients throughout the year, not just at tax time.”

A service-disabled Veteran, Brian served four years in the U.S. Military, including a tour at the Pentagon. He later worked at the International Accounting Standards Board in London and a local CPA firm.

Brian has spent two decades helping local government contractors build DCAA-ready systems, identify cost-cutting opportunities, address multistate tax issues, and maintain compliance. He also co-founded WiseCost, a patent-pending QuickBooks Online platform designed to make DCAA compliance more accessible to small GovCons.

Brian holds the AICPA’s Personal Financial Specialist credential, helping clients connect business and tax strategies with investments, retirement, estate planning, and risk management.

Brian is a George Mason University graduate and has built a paid internship program that has led many local accounting students into full-time careers at Wendroff & Associates.
