StageCoach Theatre Murder Mysteries

September through November

The interactive performing arts group’s upcoming shows include “A Grave Misunderstanding,” which will be held at area venues, restaurants, and wineries and breweries in October and November. There’s also “Wine Chiller” on October 18 at October One Vineyards, an age 21+ event. “Consulting Detectives” offers a family-friendly version of a Sherlock Holmes-themed show, and “Ghost Stories” is a haunted house-themed mystery where guests must summon a ghost to reveal the murder suspect. Murder on the Menu

October and November, 4 p.m.

Hop aboard the Virginia Scenic Railway for “Murder on the Menu,” set at the turn-of-the-century aboard a train. The spooky mystery starts when a VIP passenger is murdered as guests enjoy dinner. The three-hour adventure includes an entrée and dessert, as well as a free beverage. Resonance Improv Alliance is presenting this live murder mystery at The Vault at Capital One Hall. A brand-new crime will be invented and solved during the show and attendees can either sit back and relax playing armchair detective or interact with the show and throw out suggestions for the cast.
