New Game Show Experience Coming to The Boro at Tysons

The new venue lets friends and family try out games like those they’ve seen on TV.

Game Show Battle Rooms, a new immersive game show experience, is open now at The Boro Tysons. The interactive experience lets visitors face off against friends and family in game shows similar to those you may see on TV, all guided by game show hosts.

Game Show Battle Rooms opened on March 27 at 1640 Boro Pl., Ste. 207, McLean.

Guests are placed into simulated game show experiences led by live hosts. Upon arrival, groups split into two teams to compete against each other in three games per session.

There are two game packages available. The first, Classic Showdown, includes games called Survey Battle, Spin and Solve, and What’s That Cost. The second, Prime Time Showdown, has Survey Battles as well as Match Up Wars and Time Rush Games.

These experiences don’t specifically name real TV game shows, but you may notice some resemblance. Survey Battles, for example, is a “friendly feud” to guess the top four answers to a survey, similar to Family Feud.

The winner of each game round gets a “Battle Point.” The team with the most points at the end wins and earns a place on the Champions Hall of Fame wall in the lobby.

This experience is open for groups of eight to 32 people; it’s recommended for ages 10 and up, though younger kids can participate. Tickets are $38 per person.
