BYOB, meet BYOM.

Bring your own mat, that is. If you haven’t tried a local yoga class at your favorite brewery in Northern Virginia, now might be the time. Here are seven upcoming classes to consider that will have you taking deep breaths and sipping great brews. (And, don’t forget your mat!)

This hour-and-a-half class will kick your Saturday morning off right, and send you straight to lunch time with your workout already out of the way. Doggy Noses & Yoga Poses
Sept. 22, 11:30 a.m.
You’ve heard of goat yoga and, surely, you’ve heard of the yoga classes at your favorite brewery. But what about swapping out goats for another four-legged friend? Get your “pawsport” from Sinistral Brewing Company and you can participate in an hour-long, mixed-level yoga class where puppies and dogs will roam free. Be prepared for puppy kisses, and be sure to grab your complimentary pint. // Sinistral Brewing Company: 9419 Main St., Manassas; $35

Yoga at Rocket Frog Brewing
Sept. 28, 10:30 a.m.
This energetic yoga class is meant to “blast you off of your mat” thanks to the aptly named hosting brewery. Awaken your senses and “cultivate your thirst” according to the website, and be sure to enjoy a pint of freshly brewed craft beer after class. All yoga levels are welcome to attend. // Rocket Frog Brewing Company: 22560 Glenn Drive, Unit 103, Sterling; $20 online, $25 walk-in if available

Yoga at Tysons Biergarten
Sept. 29, 11 a.m.
If you’ve been raising your glasses high for Oktoberfest (or are planning to do so as the celebration runs through early October), stretch out your shoulders and get yourself back into tip-top shape with this energetic yoga class. The bonus? Treat yourself to a beer, or another cold beverage of your choice, and get relaxed in a new way at the Biergarten. // Tysons Biergarten: 8346 Leesburg Pike, Tysons; $25 online, $20 walk-in if available

Yoga & Beer at Fair Winds Brewing
Oct. 16, 7 p.m.

No previous yoga experience required. // Fair Winds Brewing Company: 7000 Newington Road, Suites K & L, Lorton; $20 online, $25 walk-in if available
