More housing proposed in Ballston; Northam awards $600K to state schools

The proposed redevelopment for the Harris Teeter site in Ballston is moving ahead with changes to apartment units and parking spaces. Developers are now proposing 732 multifamily units on the Ballston Harris Teeter and Mercedes Benz dealership lot. (WTOP)

Gov. Ralph Northam has announced 16 high schools across Virginia will each receive $37,500 to spend on career and technical education equipment upgrades. NoVA schools include T.C. Williams High School, Governor’s STEM Academy at Christiansburg High School and Spotsylvania CTE Center. (NBC 4 Washington)
