Diego Andres Echeverri, a Northern Virginia-based entrepreneur, knows what it means to celebrate Veteran’s Day. Having served in Afghanistan from 2003 to 2004 with the 10th Mountain Division of the United States Army, Echeverri is a veteran himself and one with style.
In 2013, he started Bull + Moose, a locally based men’s fashion line that designs neckwear, all American-made. It was Echeverri’s goal to honor his military background through his new business venture, which is part of the Got Your 6 program, which helps to support veteran-owned businesses. Bull + Moose not only participates in the program, but donates time and resources to several other organizations, such as the GI Film Festival held earlier this year in D.C during which the company created a limited edition camo cummerbund as a donation that was never released to the public for sale.
To honor veteran’s the company will be holding a sale today, 25 percent off of the dapper men’s line. Among the most popular items of the brand? According to Echeverri, the Camo Necktie and Camo Bowtie—a fitting way to support all of those who have served as well as local business this Veteran’s Day.
