Love soccer? Love golf? You can now play both at the same time at Pinecrest Golf Course with its recently returned FootGolf course (the only one located in Fairfax County).
FootGolf combines the two popular sports into one and is played on a golf course using a soccer ball. The object of the game is for players to kick the ball in an oversized cup in as few strokes as possible.
The Pinecrest course, which is American FootGolf League certified, is a par 60 course with 18 holes over 1,965 yards. It is now open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays after 3 p.m. “We’re thrilled to welcome back our loyal FootGolfers. We know they were eager to return, and we are happy to get them safely back on the course,” stated Todd Johnson, golf enterprises manager in a recent press release.
Due to COVID-19, reservations are required. Find FootGolf tee times and reserve your spot by booking in advance online or by calling the clubhouse at 703-941-1061. FootGolf tee times can be made up to seven days in advance, and must be made at least four hours in advance. Walk-ins are not accepted at this time and Pinecrest is currently not renting soccer balls, so players must bring their own.
