The Fourth of July might seem far away, but here in the DMV, plans are already being made, including the annual D.C. Jam music festival.
After two years in California, the Foo Fighters are bringing the festival back to DC with an all-day party, celebrating the 25th birthday of Foo Fighters, the band’s eponymous first album, which was released on July 4, 1995.
The celebration will take place on Saturday, July 4 at FedExField, featuring Chris Stapleton, Pharrell Williams, The Go-Go’s, Band of Horses, Duran Jones & The Indications, The Regrettes, Beach Bunny and Radkey.
There will also be a barbecue competition, tailgate parties, rides, games and other fun touches adding to the summer celebration. Tickets for the event go on sale Friday, March 6 at 10 a.m.
More details on the event will be announced in the coming weeks. For more information, visit dcjamfest.com. // FedExField: 1600 Fedex Way, Landover, Maryland; $49.75-$149.75 per ticket; $40-$50 parking pass
