Gov. Northam announced on March 23 that public schools will remain closed as concerns over the coronavirus rise.
The national brand has over 400 franchised schools in 30 states, providing education and care to over 60,000 students.
The celebratory week honoring public school education will take place across the nation at the end of February.
Fairfax County Public Schools recently announced multiple contracts with solar energy providers, which could save the school system an estimated $60 million.
Come 2020, seventh through 12th grade students of Fairfax County will have more opportunity to voice their opinion outside of the classroom, thanks to a recent policy change.
