Get ready to fill your closets with even more jackets, coats and overalls. Fat Face and Patagonia have both set their sights on opening store fronts in Alexandria in 2020.
England-based Fat Face offers men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and accessories, with everything from “dungarees and flip-flops, to wellies, hoodies and chinos,” according to the website.
The company currently has 10 locations in the United States, mostly in New England, and the Alexandria location will be its first in Virginia. It will be located at 128 King Street, next to Lou Lou boutique.
Patagonia is known best for its wide array of adventure-inspired clothing and accessories (often found at local sporting goods stores across the region), and is opening its first storefront in Alexandria in the former Old Town Theater space, located at 518 King Street. This location will also be the company’s first in Virginia, with the nearest storefront found in Georgetown.
According to a recent press release, Patagonia hopes to open its doors in March 2020, while Fat Face has yet to announce an estimated time frame. Regardless, be ready to shop at both and stock your closets for every season this year.
