Entertainment
I like to be outside. There are so many great trails, like the Mount Vernon Trail. The wineries around here are really beautiful and fun. There’s some really great sightseeing in Virginia, too, like Arlington Cemetery and the Air Force and Pentagon memorials.

Dining
Lena’s Pizza in Alexandria and Cheesetique in Del Ray are really good. I love Los Cuates on King Street; they’re the only place I’ve found that has white queso, and I’m obsessed. I love South Block, Cava and Table Talk on Duke Street in Alexandria.

Style Philosophy
I’m more of a quality versus quantity person. I’d rather pay 10 times as much for the perfect item that will wash well, wear well and look good for years than for 10 items that are crappy, and I’d rather have 20 pieces that fit me well and are amazing than have a hundred pieces that aren’t very special and don’t make me feel my best. I think with every outfit you put on, you should think, “Yeah, I look amazing in this!”
Favorite Fall Trends
Dark florals, sleepwear and lingerie as ready-to-wear, and shiny and silver pieces.

Splurge shopping
Intermix, Rag & Bone, AllSaints and Cusp in Georgetown, Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdale’s in Tysons. If I need something for an event that’s really soon and I don’t have time to order it online, I’ll typically go to Cusp or Intermix. Need Supply Co. is one of the best local stores around Richmond.
