Lysandra Pachuta graduated from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s in communication and business. She received her J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law. After graduation, Pachuta worked for the Public Defender Service in Washington, D.C. Pachuta was also a trial attorney at Fairfax’s Public Defender Office. In that position, she represented hundreds of clients charged with a variety of crimes from traffic offenses to first degree murder. Pachuta is experienced in representing clients at every stage of both criminal and immigration cases and has conducted dozens of trials. She is proficient in Spanish. Pachuta lives in Reston with her husband and three children.
