A graduate of Catholic University Columbus School of Law in 2011, Jonathan McHugh is a senior associate attorney at Livesay & Myers, P.C. He practices exclusively in family law, dealing with cases involving custody, support, separation and high asset divorce. Since joining Livesay & Myers in 2014, Mr. McHugh has served as one of the firm’s leaders in military divorce cases, working on issues of military retirement, the Uniformed Services Former Spouses Protection Act, the Survivor Benefit plan, disability pay and the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act. Mr. McHugh is also experienced in the division of federal retirement benefits, including the FERS Basic Benefit Plan and TSP. He is the author of Federal Retirement Division in Virginia Divorce.
