Georgetown’s palatial homes are the stuff HGTV dreams are made of. And now, interior design fans have an opportunity to go inside some of the most well-decorated houses, thanks to the Georgetown House Tour. The dates for the 89th annual home tour were just announced: Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 25.

Hosted by St. John’s Episcopal Church, the annual event welcomes more than 1,500 local residents and tourists to walk through a handful of exceptional homes in the neighborhood. The tour is self-guided and attendees are offered a map, where they can make their way through each property and read the accompanying historic information.

This year’s special guest is Barbara Sallick, the co-founder of Waterworks, a luxury kitchen and bath brand and author of several books, who recently released The Perfect Kitchen. There will be a panel discussion and book signing with Sallick, alongside architect Christian Zapatka, and all attendees are invited to a complimentary invite to The Parish Tea, held at St. John’s Episcopal. // Tour homes open from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; $55 individual tickets, $60 day of tickets, $45 per person for group tickets of 10 or more
