In our technology-driven society, the smaller, the better. Why settle for a personal trainer or electrode-wielding doctor when you can get all your necessary workout stats from an armband?
The PUSH Band, created by a Toronto-based startup, tracks reps, sets, force and balance, among other metrics, and then transmits the data to an app available for smartphones–think Nike+, but smarter.
The PUSH Band promises to prevent injury by tracking use of individual muscles and helping you adapt your fitness routine, and also “pushes” you to constantly achieve higher fitness goals. The PUSH Band will be available this summer and is already available for presale, and the $149 price tag is decent compared to other fitness-tracking devices out there.
