The doors at Ireland’s Four Courts in Arlington reopen at 4 p.m. Thursday, a little over a year after a driver in medical distress crashed into the popular Wilson Boulevard pub, causing a huge fire that destroyed the building.
The Irish pub on Wednesday hosted those injured in the August 12, 2022 crash, as well as the police and firefighters who responded. The pub has three plaques posted with the names of those who rushed to help those hurt, WTOP reported.
On its Facebook page, the pub posted a video that shows the fire’s aftermath and the pub’s restoration.
When you head back to Ireland’s Four Courts, you’ll find that most of your favorite employees have returned.
The business has undergone a $2.7 million renovation. Inside, you’ll find the rebuilt pub has a new draft beer system, new tables, chairs, and bar stools. The wood paneling has been restored, and from the original building, the pub was able to salvage the fireplace and stained glass windows.
Ireland’s Four Courts does plan to have beer bingo, two nights of karaoke, and its pub quiz.
